The name Mäpt ámorn-sde is derived from the Gnollish language, as Mäpt ámorn-sde was founded by Thilioril vyim Roxlendnreys, who was culturaly Gnollish.

Climate

The establishment of Mäpt ámorn-sde suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Mäpt ámorn-sde was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Mäpt ámorn-sde is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Mäpt ámorn-sde is is constructed arround a series of restrictive paverstone mainstreets which form concentric circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to each other at varrious points. The town lacks any defencive features, though certainly constructing even a simple fence or digging a ditch is at the forefront of the 's mind. At least, one would hope so.

A look around Mäpt ámorn-sde is like a look into a broken heart which long ago fell to corruption. There is no planning, no organization. Mäpt ámorn-sde's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used makes use of a large oblong hall or building with double colonnades and a semicircular apse and symmetrical central-plan, resulting in buildings with a square central mass and four arms of equal length.
